I am looking forward to the weekend! It’s been a busy week getting ready for the big Martin W Richard Charity event we have on Monday night in Southie at the Paramount. With the help of friends and family it looks as if we are going to have a lot of folks joining us, along with some great raffles and auction items that the community has donated. I am thrilled! Please join us if you are around on March 10th at 6 pm at the Paramount in South Boston. It’s $ 50 dollars per person for some great food and fun for a wonderful cause. Guilty Bakery will also be there with some yummy desserts! Oh did I mention I just turned off my Nike + Fuel band…so I can eat cake! It just was not working with my lifestyle 🙂 I will post the pros and cons of Nike + Fuel band in the coming weeks. Fitbit will be tested after the big Charity Event!

Marc Hall Objekt A Hidden Boston Gem in SOWA

This place is fantastic! If you are in Boston, please make your way over to Marc Hall Objekt. Even if you don’t buy anything, you will be amazed at all the beautiful pieces he has designed. I went on two shopping trips in one week! I bought two of those fantastic large glass candle sticks for our dining room. They are very grand and look great with Luminara candles in them. We also picked up a new stone pot, shown above,  for some greenery that desperately needed to be added to our condo.  I really wanted the ram head, at least I think it was a ram head. I thought it was very chic and cool, but I have to keep reminding myself we live in a condo in the city….NO ROOM, too much stuff!

Great flats for the spring!

I am finally cleaning out my closet and making some room for some new spring flats. I love these flats from Burberry! They are definitely on my wish list! I also really love the Sam Edelman “Becker” slip ons. These are great for doing errands or with a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt.  Click on pic for links! Nike + Fuelband Medium/Large C” 

I am excited and at the same time dreading this new electronic gym band! So, I decided to try out the new Nike + Fuel band to track how many steps, calories and hours I am active. Yesterday was my first day using the band and I must admit, ITS a WAKE up call! It was quite apparent that yes I get three hours of activity and yes I completed my 10,000 steps, but my goodness I am not burning as many calories as I thought I was! WOW, its hard work! Now, I fully understand how weight catches up with you over the years…we must keep moving and get our steps in! Yikes! So I am in day two with the Nike + Fuel band-I hope today is better. Canada Goose Women’s Trillium Parka,Red,Large

Well it’s March 4th, my husband birthday, and its still in the teens in Boston!  I absolutely swear by this coat, its the best investment you can make for a winter coat. I wear it almost everyday to walk the dogs, out to dinner, everywhere! Its not only attractive on but its the warmest coat I have ever come across. Click on the link to get it! Great weekend!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Mine was packed with fun! We did some home decorating-which I will try to post some pics soon. We also went to the Chestnut Hill Super Lux theater to watch Non-Stop. The theater is fantastic! You can have dinner from Davios as well as some fancy cocktails right from your comfy movie seat. It’s a must try! Today we went to baby Coleman’s christening! He is such a cutie pie! Here are a few pics of what I wore. I am really into easy and comfy outfits during the winter months.
